Mutual Fund Style
Mutual Fund Style: The style of a fund represents the category in which the fund falls.
The word "style" in the investment world has a lot of meanings, such as:
- Investment advisor style - the investment methods of a manager that are applied for the successful accomplishment of the financial objectives.
- Investor's style - in this context the style can be qualified as passive, aggressive and so on.
Some of the fund styles are: small growth, mid cap value, large blend, emerging markets, international growth and short term corporate bonds.
For instance, Mary has decided to invest in a small growth mutual fund, but she is still hesitating whether this fund style is right for her needs.
To get the most out of your money, whether you are interested in mutual funds, stocks, ETFs or options, you need two main things - the knowledge and the right trading platform.
